Had a look around Camden Passage and its antique/vintage stalls and found this gorgeous brooch…

and a bargain at £2.
Looks great on my H&M jacket.

Decided to go on a long walk around East London today.
First stop was Bethnal Green and a Vintage Kilo Sale - where vintage clothing is sold by weight rather than item.
After having a good look around I decided to walk to Brick Lane and its various vintage shops. I found another Kilo Sale.
I then walked to Spitalfields Market which had a vintage market. There were so many lovely garments but a skirt caught my eye. Golden coloured silk, knee length, fitted was with a teal and gold balloon print around the hem.

Skirt, Spitalfields Market Stall, £20.

Photo shoot from Intelligent Life Magazine, The Line of Beauty section - Fur
It was really difficult to source good quality faux fur garments as most designers still use the real thing.

I have just completely a four week work placement at the Monsoon Accessorize Head Office. I was working in Children’s Accessories & Footwear Buying Department. I took on general admin duties – archiving, emailing suppliers and team members, preparing sample boards with products and best/worst seller data, working on spreadsheets and trend research.
It was a brilliant experience with a lovely team.

Love the affordable dress from Cos, simple shift with voluminous statement sleeves, and again a backless black dress, Erin Wasson for Zadig & Voltaire.

Graduation 7th Oct - 2:1 BA (Hons) Fashion & Textiles
Had a lovely day, was great to catch up with everyone.
The AW11 Issue of 125 Magazine (on sale Sept onwards)
From the first photo shoot I worked on back in July. Shot in an amazing dilapidated house. Absolutely gorgeous garments, the Ralph Lauren dress was so heavy with all its beadwork. However my favourite item was the black backless Neil Barrett dress, so simple but very elegant and flattering.
Apologies for the line down the centre of the double pages - scanner not big enough!
In July we did a shoot for Greenshoes, a small company who hand make shoes, boots and accessories. They also have a vegan range.
The shoot was for the new Vintage range. The garments were selected from Paperdress (a Vintage Shop) and used Greenshoes footwear and accessories. The look was very eccentric and shot in a rural location. The pictures are now on the website.
I graduated in Oct 2011 with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Fashion and Textiles. I'm passionate about design, print and colour as well as construction. I often use Photoshop and scan in sketches to create print designs, which I then expose on to a screen and print by hand, but because the images are edited on the computer my designs could easily be digitally printed. I am also on twitter - http://twitter.com/SusannahGage
